Product Manager - Utilization Management

Location: Working at home in Pennsylvania; if located within 50 miles of a Highmark office in Pennsylvania, Delaware, West Virginia, or New York, this is a hybrid role requiring three days in the office. The position is office-based, requires a physical work site, and includes 0–25% travel.

What you will do

• Define the product value proposition, vision, strategy, roadmap, priorities, experiments, and execution plan.
• Own the designated portfolio of utilization management products and tools.
• Manage, refresh, and reprioritize the product backlog using input from internal and partner teams.
• Identify cross-product and cross-customer opportunities and share learnings.
• Represent the product in governance meetings and participate in sprint and milestone reviews with the Delivery team.
• Use metrics and qualitative feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience and education.
• At least 3 years of product management experience, including 3 years with the software lifecycle.
• At least 1 year of advanced domain experience in utilization management or a related area.
• Understanding of utilization management principles, processes, and industry best practices.
• Healthcare industry experience and familiarity with medical terminology, healthcare delivery systems, and clinical guidelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, demonstration, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• At least 1 year of experience with Agile processes.
