What you will do

• Apply customer payments to invoices and research unapplied cash receipts.
• Manage A/R aging reports to identify and pursue past due accounts.
• Negotiate settlements for collections and evaluate accounts for termination.
• Process approved refunds and verify electronic payments via remittances.
• Collaborate with internal departments to address collection and payment matters.
• Assist management with projects to improve and streamline AR processes.

Requirements

• Must be based in Charlotte, NC
• 1-3 years of related experience in accounts receivable or collections.
• Highly proficient in Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP.
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
