What you will do

• Generate and review customer invoices and reconcile billing data across finance systems for accuracy.
• Process monthly revenue recognition journals in accordance with ASC 606.
• Manage customer accounts, monitor AR aging, and proactively follow up on overdue balances.
• Partner with Sales Operations and Customer Success teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
• Maintain and report on AR aging, cash collections, and DSO metrics across all entities.
• Process customer payments, post daily cash receipts, and verify contracts and change orders.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in ASC 606 revenue recognition, billing, accounts receivable, or collections.
• Must have experience in a recurring revenue or subscription-based environment.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets is required.
• Must be located in or able to work from Teaneck, NJ.

Nice to have

• International experience in finance or billing.
• Experience with Salesforce.
• Experience working with payment portals such as COUPA or Amazon Payee Central.
