Origin Logistics Manager (Coffee Operations)

hirify.global is a Swiss tech-focused coffee startup operating a digital marketplace that connects coffee producers directly with roasters in Europe and the USA.

What you will do

• Coordinate green coffee shipments from producing countries to warehouses across Europe and the US, as well as ports on other continents.
• Prepare shipping instructions, manage sample approvals and bookings, provide lab instructions, and maintain shipping documentation.
• Communicate with coffee producers by email and WhatsApp and troubleshoot shipment issues.
• Verify shipping documents, maintain reporting, and support audits for Organic, Fairtrade, and RFA certifications.
• Draft and confirm supplier contracts and review green coffee supplier invoices against agreed terms and deliveries.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in coffee operations, specifically import/export.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Fluent English required.
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments and support a purpose-driven coffee industry mission.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Cargoo.
• Knowledge of Organic, Fairtrade, RFA, or Demeter certification processes.
• Knowledge of EUDR environments, including Enveritas, Osapiens, or Traces.
• Knowledge of coffee qualities and processing.
• Knowledge of Portuguese or Spanish.
