Material Planner (Electronics)

Location: Shenzhen, China; hybrid work with at least 2 days per week in the office. Candidates must be within commuting distance or willing to relocate to Shenzhen before starting.

What you will do

• Manage and prioritize SAP material-planning requests.
• Raise RFQs, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders for electronic components, PCBs, and PCB assemblies.
• Prepare supplier data packages, expedite orders, and provide shipment status updates.
• Coordinate customs clearance, inbound logistics, supplier shipments, and material movements.
• Monitor inventory, maintain SAP transaction accuracy, and drive replenishment actions.
• Identify supply risks, execute recovery plans, and resolve planning issues with global engineering teams and manufacturing partners.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in sourcing and purchasing.
• Strong knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and experience with revision control.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; ability to work from the Shenzhen office at least 2 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with electronic components or manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP.
• Experience supporting BOM loads and related SAP setup requirements.
