What you will do

• Manage daily operations for outside and inside plant network services, including installation and maintenance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and contractors for construction and maintenance projects.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of technicians to meet performance, safety, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with union representatives to maintain productive working relationships.
• Represent the company in interactions with customers and governmental agencies.
• Motivate the team to achieve continuous improvement and meet critical project deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of experience managing teams in a technical telecom environment.
• Proven ability to coach and mentor employees within a unionized workplace.
• Working knowledge of residential and business service installation, splicing, and construction processes.
• Proficiency with computer systems including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, pager duty, and mandatory overtime or holidays as required.
