Salary: $196,000 – $240,000 USD

What you will do

• Design and optimize the day-to-day operating model for hedge accounting delivery across FX and interest rate programs.
• Lead and mentor a team of Hedge Accounting Managers and Derivative Accountants to ensure technical excellence.
• Manage resource planning, capacity forecasting, and KPI tracking for a growing client portfolio.
• Serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex accounting positions, audit disputes, and de-designation challenges.
• Partner with product and technology teams to inform service design and platform capabilities.
• Own hiring and workforce planning to scale the practice effectively.

Requirements

• CPA certification required.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 8-10 years focused on derivative instruments and hedge accounting (ASC 815/IFRS 9).
• 5+ years of experience managing and developing accounting or finance teams, including managing managers.
• Deep technical fluency in FX and interest rate derivative instruments.
• Proven track record in operational management, including staffing, KPI tracking, and workflow design.
• Strong communication skills to defend technical positions with auditors and clients.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with hedge accounting platforms like hirify.global Treasury, Chatham Financial, Reval, or FIS Quantum.
