Senior Manager, Finance Systems - Treasury (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA (hybrid; in-office at least 25% of the time)

Salary: $270,000 - $315,000 USD (annual)

What you will do

• Define target-state treasury technology architecture, including the data foundation (models, tables, pipelines, governance) and build-vs-buy decisions for a treasury management system.
• Sequence a multi-year roadmap so foundational work lands first, minimizing throwaway effort.
• Own product roadmaps for cash positioning, cash/liquidity forecasting, cash flash and leadership reporting, bank account management, treasury intake, and payment workflows.
• Design and ship Claude-powered agents and dashboards to automate manual, error-prone treasury work.
• Ensure delivered workflows are auditable, controlled, and recoverable to meet SOX compliance expectations as scope grows.
• Align treasury data models and governance with the Finance data lake strategy and drive integrations across banks, TMS, ERP, and internal finance systems; set direction for 1–2 finance systems engineers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, or systems leadership in finance, treasury, or fintech.
• Deep treasury domain knowledge (cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, bank connectivity, cash pooling structures, payment workflows).
• Experience owning architecture and platform decisions for internal finance or data platforms across multiple systems and vendors.
• Track record shipping internal platforms or finance systems with an engineering team, including design-to-go-live ownership.
• Comfort leading complex system design and infrastructure programs across multiple systems and vendors.
• Strong stakeholder management across Treasury, Finance, Engineering, Internal Audit (Risk and Compliance), and external vendors.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with treasury management systems (e.g., Kyriba, Quantum, Trovata) as owner/administrator/implementer.
• Experience integrating with banking APIs, payment rails, or bank connectivity providers.
• Experience with cash pooling structures, intercompany funding, or multi-entity treasury operations.
• Experience designing finance data infrastructure at program level (e.g., GCP/BigQuery, data warehouses, pipelines, reporting platforms).
• Experience building AI/LLM-assisted workflows, agents, or Claude-powered automation for financial operations.
• CTP, CFA, or comparable treasury/finance credential.
