Associate Vice President, Finance Business Process & Systems Lead (AI)

Location: Washington, DC; in-office four days per week

Base salary: $150,000–$170,000 per year, plus potential annual discretionary incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Set the AI, automation, and finance-technology strategy for General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Payroll.
• Own the end-to-end record-to-report and order-to-cash process and systems landscape.
• Lead process reengineering, ERP initiatives, integrations, data migration, UAT, deployment, and stabilization.
• Champion financial data integrity, reconciliations, auditability, GAAP compliance, and SOX controls.
• Lead agile delivery, backlog prioritization, resource allocation, and vendor and consultant relationships.
• Communicate risks, progress, metrics, and trade-offs to finance and technology leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; accounting, finance, economics, information systems, or a related concentration preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant experience across finance or accounting operations, financial systems, and process improvement.
• Experience bridging finance with GTS or development teams and leading ERP or related finance-systems implementations.
• Strategic experience applying generative AI and automation to finance workflows, including governance and human oversight.
• Experience with system governance, change management, master data management, data quality, controls, and people leadership.
• Financial systems experience across ERP platforms such as PeopleSoft Financials; advanced Excel and PowerPoint required. Jira, SQL, BI and reporting tools, Six Sigma, or Lean experience are relevant.
