Finance Systems Lead

Location: San Francisco or New York; hybrid work with in-person attendance 3+ days per week

Salary: $215K–$275K plus equity

What you will do

• Own the finance systems strategy, configuration, roadmap, implementation, and ongoing administration.
• Lead integrations across ERP, planning, billing, HRIS, payroll, CPQ, and commission systems.
• Partner with Accounting, FP&A, People, Sales and Revenue Operations, Legal, IT, and Data Analytics on system design and workflows.
• Identify and build automation for reconciliation, reporting, and other manual finance processes.
• Evaluate new tools, develop investment cases, and document system architecture and workflows.
• Manage access, permissions, controls, and audit support related to finance systems and automated controls.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in finance systems, business systems, or related systems administration.
• Experience implementing or administering a financial planning tool.
• Experience integrating systems across finance and adjacent functions, including HRIS/payroll or CPQ/commissions.
• Strong technical aptitude for building automation and workflows and directing contractors or vendor customer success managers.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and operate as a systems generalist across a broad technology stack.
• Based in San Francisco or New York and able to work in person at least 3 days per week.

• Experience with CPQ and commission systems.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.

• Experience building automation with AI tools or low-code/no-code platforms.
• Exposure to SOX controls in a revenue cycle context.
