ERP Solutions Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in Dallas, Texas, United States. The role may also be compensated within the stated range for San Francisco, California, or Atlanta, Georgia. Travel of up to 35% is required.

Salary: $100,000–$110,000 annually in Dallas, including base salary and a portion of variable compensation tied to company and individual performance.

What you will do

• Conduct discovery sessions with government finance teams to map accounting practices, chart of accounts, month-end close, fund accounting, internal controls, procurement workflows, and budget cycles.
• Deliver tailored demonstrations connecting financial solutions to reconciliations, audit readiness, GASB compliance, budget-to-actual reporting, and financial transparency.
• Translate customer workflows into recommended system configurations and future-state process models.
• Design and execute proof-of-concept activities based on realistic government accounting scenarios.
• Support RFI, RFP, and RFQ responses with finance and accounting requirements and functional content.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Professional Services, and create process documentation and configuration guides for evaluation and implementation handoffs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience with accounting or finance systems.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting, financial systems, ERP implementation, or public-sector finance advisory.
• Strong knowledge of government accounting, fund accounting, GASB standards, budgeting, procurement, and financial reporting.
• Ability to explain accounting and system concepts to finance teams, IT staff, and executive leadership.
• Experience with local government finance operations and hands-on experience with cloud-based ERP or financial management systems.
• Background as a CPA, accounting professional, or government auditor is expected.
