What you will do

• Optimize and define design and validation requirements for power electronics and HV systems.
• Predict inverter losses, heat rejection, and high voltage bus ripple and resonances.
• Assess the impact of control strategies and design changes on component and system performance.
• Provide technical leadership in product development and supplier assessment activities.
• Drive cost reduction, size reduction, and overall efficiency improvements for power inverters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (5+ years exp) or Master's (3+ years exp).
• Must be based in or be able to report to the local office in Warren, Michigan.
• Experience with Electric Drive, Propulsion System High Voltage Bus, and V2V/V2H architecture.
• Expertise in Power Electronics theory including Si, SiC, and GaN semiconductors.
• Experience designing for EMC and analyzing vehicle-level conducted and radiated emissions.
• Proficiency with Ansys (Sherlock, HFSS, Siwave), Matlab, Simulink, and Saber.
