Senior Electrical Architect (Automotive): Leading the electrical development of next-generation camera, display, and controller systems with an accent on architecture definition, signal integrity, and component standardization. Focus on driving technical solutions for customer RFQs, ensuring compliance with Functional Safety and ASPICE standards, and integrating advanced technologies into automotive products.

Location: Must reside within a commutable distance to Novi, Michigan. This role requires on-site presence a minimum of three (3) days per week, with the option to work remotely two (2) days per week.

What you will do

• Lead electrical development for InnoTech products, including cameras, displays, and controllers.
• Define EE architecture, roadmaps, and standardization strategies.
• Manage specialists for schematics, layout, component engineering, and integrity simulations.
• Develop technical solutions in response to customer RFQs.
• Ensure designs meet Functional Safety and Cyber Security requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, optics, software, and mechanical engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or similar field (Master’s preferred).
• 12+ years of working experience, with 8+ years as a Senior/Principal EE.
• Automotive industry experience with knowledge of ADAS applications and sensor sets.
• Solid understanding of digital circuit block design and integration.
• Knowledge of Functional Safety and ASPICE standards.
• Must be able to work on-site in Novi, MI at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Basic coding and modelling skills in MATLAB, Simulink, Python, or C.
• Experience using AI tools for engineering tasks.
