What you will do

• Design and implement web applications independently.
• Analyze requirements and propose high-level technical solutions.
• Provide final approval for code reviews and ensure system performance.
• Mentor associate-level software developers and lead by example.
• Break down work for team members and act as the point of contact for project issues.
• Maintain accurate tracking of billable hours in the project management system.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience required.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, REST API, SQL, and Git.
• Experience with middleware products, unit testing, and transaction processing.
• Ability to maintain repositories with a focus on code health and quality.
• Experience in end-to-end feature development.
• Must be based in Canada.

Nice to have

• Knowledge or experience in healthcare, HL7, or FHIR standards.
