What you will do
- Lead the design and implementation of highly scalable, clean, and maintainable backend solutions.
- Collaborate with senior and principal developers to solve complex engineering challenges.
- Support production systems, including investigating issues and driving resolutions.
- Participate in group technology reviews and contribute to user story formulation.
- Identify opportunities for process and technology improvements to enhance platform performance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience (3+ years with a Master's).
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin.
- Strong experience designing REST and gRPC APIs.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming (SOLID, Domain-Driven Design).
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Knowledge of both relational and non-relational data stores.
- Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies, Git, and monitoring tools like Splunk or Datadog.
- Experience architecting distributed systems.
