What you will do

• Prepare daily customer billing and ensure accurate, consistent, and timely billing and revenue recognition.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities in collaboration with Accounting and Finance.
• Resolve billing inquiries by partnering with Sales, Business Ops, Customer Success, AR, Accounting, Finance, IT, and Legal.
• Ensure contract alignment and maintain a seamless customer experience.
• Contribute to annual audit readiness by supporting compliance and strengthening internal controls.
• Identify and implement process improvements to scale and optimize billing operations as the business grows.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Prior billing experience (SaaS company experience preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including working with large datasets and performing reconciliations.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain billing concepts to financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP/billing platforms.
• Experience supporting billing operations in a high-growth SaaS/subscription business model.
• Exposure to annual audit processes and understanding of controls and documentation requirements.
