Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 + 10% discretionary annual bonus

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of household claims, including complex and high-value cases, from first notification to conclusion.
• Interpret policy wordings, exclusions, and endorsements to determine coverage and liability.
• Produce accurate Schedules of Works and evaluate reports from third-party surveyors and engineers.
• Draft detailed technical reports with settlement recommendations and escalate complex losses.
• Apply accurate reserves and identify/investigate potentially fraudulent claims.
• Provide technical guidance to the wider claims team and maintain knowledge of industry regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ Desktop Loss Adjusting experience.
• Proven experience in household claims handling (Buildings and Contents) across all perils.
• Experience managing contractor/building repair networks and loss adjusters.
• Proficiency in claims case management systems.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make evidence-based decisions under pressure.
• Must be based in the UK with a valid Graduate or Post-Study Work visa (minimum 1 year remaining).

• Cert CII and/or BDMA accreditation (or currently working towards them).
