What you will do

• Underwrite Art and Private Client products across direct and broker channels, including high-value household, motor, and overseas properties.
• Manage existing portfolios to achieve targets for growth, retention, and broker experience.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with brokers within a broker-led environment.
• Negotiate underwriting decisions and solutions with internal stakeholders and external brokers.
• Collaborate with product specialists to resolve and challenge non-standard underwriting cases.
• Identify process improvements to enhance the customer experience and drive profitable growth.

Requirements

• Proven underwriting experience in High Net Worth, Private Client, or Personal Lines insurance.
• Strong commercial judgement and a deep understanding of market conditions and competitor activity.
• Analytical approach to risk assessment and logical decision-making.
• Confidence in engaging and building relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and achieve results.
• Diploma CII qualification or currently working towards it.
