Senior Group Accountant (Insurance)

hirify.global is developing its Group Finance function to support the next phase of business growth.

What you will do

• Produce and present consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial, statutory, and regulatory reporting deliverables.
• Ensure reporting complies with IFRS and Solvency II regulatory guidance.
• Maintain and enhance the financial control environment for Group consolidation and wider financial control activities.
• Build strong relationships with Finance teams, Finance Directors, Controllers, regulators, auditors, and other stakeholders.
• Streamline and automate finance processes by applying technology, external insights, and best practices.
• Support Finance and Group-wide projects while promoting continuous improvement and excellence across Financial Control.

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant with ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualification.
• Strong technical and financial reporting knowledge within financial services, preferably insurance.
• Understanding of group consolidation principles and financial reporting systems, preferably Oracle.
• Experience maintaining strong financial controls and delivering change.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to constructively challenge results and improve existing processes.
