Regulatory Accountant UK (Insurance)

What you will do

• Support Finance Reporting leads with quarterly and annual regulatory reporting for hirify.globalUK and the UK Solvency Group.
• Assist with submissions to the PRA, NAIC, ONS, ABI, and other regulators, including EBS/Solvency II balance sheets, QRTs, and available capital calculations.
• Develop robust processes, internal controls, regulatory policies, methodologies, and governance requirements.
• Work with Accenture, Legal Entity Reporting, and US GAAP teams to maintain consistent processes and integrated SAP data flows.
• Prepare results papers for the hirify.globalUK CFO and Finance Leadership team and act as a subject-matter expert for regulatory reporting projects.
• Collaborate with External Audit, Actuarial, Risk, Tax, ERM, and Strategic Finance teams to resolve reporting issues and maintain consistency.

Requirements

• Experience in finance roles within large, complex organizations, ideally a Big Four firm or large insurance company.
• Hands-on Solvency II/Solvency UK reporting experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge covering US GAAP, IFRS, Solvency II, and Solvency UK.
• Strong Excel modelling skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to deliver accurate work within tight timelines and manage priorities independently.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills; a self-starter and effective team player.
