What you will do
- Prepare statutory financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Prepare financial and regulatory returns for the Group and subsidiary entities.
- Complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting, disclosure, consolidation, and control processes.
- Maintain the quality of reporting systems, processes, procedures, and controls.
- Work with Technology to maintain Workday general ledger account hierarchies and related reporting processes.
- Provide information and explanations to external auditors.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong post-qualification experience in financial and regulatory reporting.
- Good knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP, with practical experience of reporting processes and controls.
- Strong analytical, organisational, planning, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, adapt to change, and improve reporting processes.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Nice to have
- Experience in the UK financial services industry and consolidated reporting.
- Experience with regulatory reporting under the Investment Firms Prudential Regime or Solvency II.
- Experience working with large, complex data sets and financial or regulatory reporting software such as CDM and Workday.
