What you will do

• Oversee, review, and sign off financial accounts and reporting deliverables for Unit Trusts, OEICs, ACS, CAIFs, and Investment Trusts.
• Review XD working papers, distribution rates, and accounts for compliance with applicable SORP and accounting standards.
• Coordinate professionally with internal departments, trustees, depositaries, custodians, auditors, and fund management clients.
• Meet KPI deadlines and quality standards while implementing corrective and preventative actions.
• Support the development of the production jurisdiction and provide performance feedback to local managers.
• Improve oversight processes and assist with updated departmental procedures and training materials.

Requirements

• Current or previous experience as a senior analyst or senior accountant in financial services.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom at the time of application and throughout employment.
• FCA Training & Competence exams completed or grandfathered; additional accounting qualifications expected.
• Knowledge of FCA regulations for Unit Trusts, OEICs, ACS, and CIFs, including COLL, and the latest IA SORP.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS accounting and strong numerical, written, computer, and spreadsheet skills.
• Ability to manage pressure, meet timetabled deadlines, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of regulations applying to Investment Trusts.
• Experience with Excel, Word, Lotus Notes, and InvestOne Enterprise.
