Senior Vice President - Finance

What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, consolidated financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and external audits.
• Oversee technical accounting for subscription and DaaS revenue, purchase accounting, deferred revenue, and other complex transactions.
• Manage internal controls, balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, working capital reporting, and debt covenant compliance.
• Own global tax oversight and multinational payroll accounting, controls, accruals, and compliance coordination.
• Lead accounting integration for acquired entities, including opening balances, chart-of-accounts harmonization, and post-close adjustments.
• Build and manage the accounting team while partnering with FP&A, Treasury, Legal, HR, Operations, and business leaders on financial matters and process modernization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a required Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant license.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting or controllership experience, including 3–5 years in a private equity-backed or leveraged reporting environment.
• Demonstrated M&A accounting integration experience and strong technical GAAP knowledge.
• Working knowledge of corporate tax, ASC 740, indirect tax, and M&A tax implications.
• Experience overseeing payroll accounting and controls in a multi-entity, multi-country, or multi-state environment.
• Experience presenting financial information to CFOs, boards, and lenders, plus hands-on use of modern ERP, close-automation, reporting, and AI-enabled tools.

Nice to have

• Experience in subscription, SaaS, or data and analytics businesses.
• Public company or large accountancy background.
• Direct tax compliance experience.
