Lead - Vendor Management

Location: San Mateo, California, United States

Salary: USD 105,000–130,000 yearly base salary; bonus or equity may be available.

What you will do

• Develop and scale the vendor management program within the Procurement team.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding, compliance documentation, and stakeholder support.
• Manage contract routing, contract renewals, and consistent procurement contract processes.
• Triage sourcing requests and support engagement between business stakeholders and Procurement.
• Monitor vendor KPIs and SLAs, and design supplier scorecards covering delivery, quality, and cost competitiveness.
• Conduct supplier risk assessments and develop contingency plans such as dual-sourcing strategies and safety stock targets.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in vendor management or procurement.
• Experience establishing procurement work processes, quality and productivity standards, policies, and procedures.
• Understanding of full procure-to-pay (P2P) processes.
• Knowledge of procurement tools and processes.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
