What you will do

• Design and evolve scalable distributed systems in Go using efficient concurrency models.
• Translate high-level business goals into actionable technical plans and delivery roadmaps.
• Lead and perform code reviews for senior engineers, ensuring resilience and high quality.
• Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines and overall engineering processes.
• Represent the engineering team in stakeholder meetings, explaining technical topics in business-centric terms.
• Anticipate and mitigate technical risks and edge cases during the planning phase.

Requirements

• 7+ years of total software development experience.
• 4+ years of production-level experience with Go (goroutines, channels, context, memory model).
• Must be located in one of the specified European countries.
• Proven experience designing distributed, microservice-based, or high-load systems.
• Strong expertise in API design (REST/gRPC) and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• English: C1 (Advanced) or above required.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating AI/LLM components into production systems.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, ClickHouse) or Redis.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-native architecture.
• Proficiency in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) or Event-Driven Architecture.
• Experience in a formal Architect, Staff, or Principal Engineer role.
