What you will do
- Direct and motivate the event service team while personally assisting with function-room setup.
- Coordinate room sets, inspections, supplies, equipment, cleanliness, sanitation, and routine maintenance.
- Ensure events follow Banquet Event Orders, resumes, customer requirements, and Event Service Standards.
- Act as a liaison between Banquets, Event Planning, Event Delivery teams, and group contacts.
- Provide guest support, gather feedback, resolve complaints, and suggest alternatives during events.
- Schedule staff, lead shifts, conduct department meetings, and execute safety and emergency procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three years of experience in event management, food and beverage, or a related professional area.
- Experience leading event service staff and coordinating shift coverage.
- Ability to manage departmental inventories, assets, equipment, and administrative responsibilities.
- Ability to maintain customer service, cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards.
