What you will do

• Craft innovative, user-focused solutions for the open-source database platform.
• Create working prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups to align cross-functional teams.
• Lead complex design challenges, balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
• Conduct user research and utilize data to inform and validate design decisions.
• Develop reusable product primitives to ensure consistency and scalability across the product ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Product Engineers and Managers to take features from idea to completion.

Requirements

• Experience designing for a technical audience.
• Ability to prototype and demonstrate ideas visually rather than discussing them.
• Proficiency in writing code with the assistance of AI.
• Proven track record of shipping side projects or personal experiments.
• High standards for design quality with the ability to balance speed and craft.
• Strong collaborative skills for working with diverse cross-functional teams.
