Senior Business Analyst (Banking)

Location: Remote for citizens of Poland, Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania

What you will do

• Analyze and implement business and regulatory reporting requirements in a banking environment.
• Automate manual file-based processes and reduce manual adjustments.
• Support ECB remediation activities and align reporting with supervisory expectations.
• Translate regulatory rules, validation logic, datasets, and statistical concepts into clear business and data requirements.
• Contribute to data warehouse and reporting solution design and improvement.
• Coordinate business and IT stakeholders, model business processes, and manage requirements and tasks in Confluence and Jira.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in business analysis and requirements engineering.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, systems, processes, financial data, and regulatory reporting frameworks.
• Experience with business process modelling, software development methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehouse and reporting concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Atlassian Jira, and Confluence.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written, is required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on regulatory reporting experience.
• Knowledge of BCBS239 principles and requirements.
• Experience with ECB remediation initiatives.
• Background in finance or banking transformation projects.
