What you will do
- Translate complex business visions and objectives into structured requirements and actionable inputs for delivery teams.
- Analyze and document current (as-is) and target (to-be) enterprise solution states, identifying gaps and risks.
- Develop business cases to assess the feasibility, value, and impact of proposed data solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineers, BI specialists, and analytics teams to ensure accurate data flows and alignment.
- Manage the requirements lifecycle and solution scope using prioritization and change management practices.
- Support pre-sales processes and participate in client workshops as a subject-matter expert.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in IT environments focusing on enterprise-scale solutions.
- Working proficiency in German (B2/upper-intermediate or higher).
- Confident communication skills in English for international collaboration.
- Practical knowledge of data environments (DWH, data lakes, data marts) and basic data mapping.
- Ability to write and validate SQL queries for data analysis and verification.
- Understanding of cloud environments such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.
- Experience with Agile and Kanban methodologies.
Nice to have
- Background in data engineering or data science.
- Professional certifications such as IIBA CBAP, PMI-PBA, OCUP 2, OCEB 2, or TOGAF Foundation.
