Senior Back-end Engineer (Node.js)

What you will do

• Develop scalable back-end services, improving performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Implement authentication and authorization for API-driven platforms.
• Contribute to event-driven architectures and asynchronous system operations.
• Collaborate with MuleSoft, Contentful, Uniform, and mobile application teams to deliver product features.
• Work with architects and product owners on system design and implementation.
• Participate in code reviews and improve shared engineering practices, using modern AI assistants to increase development quality and speed.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on back-end development and API integration.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, Node.js, and GraphQL.
• Experience with event-driven processing and SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience delivering production-ready software in agile teams.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Upper-Intermediate English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Contentful and Uniform.
