What you will do

• Lead and support a shift team of approximately 18 people, prioritizing their health, safety, and wellbeing.
• Oversee all production lines and site operations during your shift, particularly out of hours.
• Ensure production runs effectively and efficiently to meet quality standards and daily targets.
• Uphold standard operating procedures and actively participate in risk assessments.
• Troubleshoot process issues to restore production safely and identify team training needs.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives to enhance plant performance.

Requirements

• Background in manufacturing or plant environments.
• Strong organizational and team leadership skills.
• Ability to identify training needs and support team development.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong communication skills.
• Basic IT, literacy, and numeracy skills.
• Must be able to work a rotating shift pattern of 12-hour day and night shifts on a four-week cycle.

Nice to have

• Experience with Permit to Work systems.
• Knowledge of isolation procedures.
• Experience in confined space management.
