What you will do

• Act as the senior business counterpart for Retail Banking Technology to drive global IT delivery.
• Translate EU and local regulations into clear, implementable requirements for fraud prevention platforms.
• Shape and prioritize the global Authentication & Consent product backlog in collaboration with IT and Product Leads.
• Lead global gap analyses and define improvement roadmaps to ensure consistent standard adoption.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to ensure technical feasibility and quality of delivery.
• Monitor fraud trends and technology evolution to drive continuous platform improvements.

Requirements

• Must be based in Romania or willing to work from Bucharest/Cluj-Napoca.
• 5+ years of experience in the banking industry at the intersection of business, regulation, and IT delivery.
• Proven ability to drive standardization and adoption across multi-country environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience working closely with IT delivery teams.
• English proficiency required for daily communication.

Nice to have

• Ability to review and understand technical artefacts such as sequence and flow diagrams.
• Experience with API design and documentation.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
