Senior Treasury Accountant

Location: Hybrid in Boston, MA with 3 days per week in the office, or fully remote for candidates located on the East Coast of the United States.

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Review and validate creator payments, customer funding, platform increases, campaign budgets, and other platform transactions.
• Prepare journal entries, maintain general ledger accounts, and ensure platform activity and customer funds are accurately recorded.
• Own platform, creator payment, customer account, and general ledger reconciliations; investigate variances and escalate unresolved items.
• Maintain financial and operational data across Salesforce, NetSuite, and other systems, researching discrepancies and root causes.
• Support creator payout forecasting, cash management, campaign budget and margin tracking, audits, and internal control initiatives.
• Improve treasury operations, accounting processes, controls, automation, and the use of AI tools in financial operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, treasury, finance, or financial operations, including accounting principles, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, investigative, and discrepancy-resolution skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to independently manage multiple processes, priorities, and deadlines, taking issues from identification through resolution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and educate cross-functional teams.
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and billing or platform funding processes.
• Strong Excel skills, including analysis of large data sets and detailed reconciliations.

• Experience in both private and public company environments.
• Experience supporting annual audits.
• CPA, CTP, or MBA.
• Experience with financial, payment, or creator payout platforms.
• Experience using Claude, ChatGPT, or other generative AI tools for analysis, research, reporting, or workflow efficiency.
