Senior Treasury Accountant

Location: Hybrid in Boston, MA with 3 days per week in the office, or fully remote for candidates located on the East Coast of the United States.

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Review and validate creator payments, customer funding, campaign budgets, and other platform transactions.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records for platform activity and customer funds.
• Own reconciliations for creator payments, customer accounts, and general ledger accounts.
• Investigate discrepancies across NetSuite, Salesforce, and other systems, identifying root causes and driving resolutions.
• Support creator payout forecasting, cash management, campaign margin tracking, audits, and internal control initiatives.
• Improve treasury operations, accounting processes, controls, automation, and the use of AI tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, treasury, finance, or financial operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, billing or platform funding processes, and advanced Excel-based data analysis.
• Ability to independently manage multiple processes and take issues from identification through resolution.
• For remote work, candidates must be located on the East Coast of the United States.

• Experience in both private and public company environments.
• Experience supporting annual audits.
• CPA, CTP, or MBA.
• Experience with financial, payment, or creator payout platforms.
• Experience using Claude, ChatGPT, or other generative AI tools.
