Accountant (Fintech)

Location: Remote from Chile; working hours aligned with US Central time zones

What you will do

• Execute monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, cash reconciliations, and variance analysis under US GAAP.
• Drive month-end close schedules and support quarterly and annual financial reviews and audits.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and supporting schedules.
• Execute internal control testing and maintain documentation for SOX 404 compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field.
• 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• US GAAP experience and foundational knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Professional English fluency in written and spoken communication.
• Availability to work aligned with US Central time zones.
• Demonstrated experience with Claude or equivalent large language model tools.
