Senior Accountant (AI)

Location: Miami; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Own key areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Manage accounting across multiple U.S. and international entities, including intercompany transactions, eliminations, consolidations, and foreign currency.
• Maintain accurate accounting under U.S. GAAP and support financial reporting, audits, and technical accounting matters.
• Identify manual and error-prone processes and build scalable automation for reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, prepaid schedules, and flux analysis.
• Develop AI- and LLM-assisted workflows, close dashboards, self-service reporting, and tools for accounting research.
• Partner with Finance, Payroll, People, Legal, and other teams to resolve accounting issues and improve upstream processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with hands-on month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, and consolidated reporting.
• Hands-on experience implementing, migrating, integrating, or significantly improving an ERP or accounting system.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, including work with large datasets and information from multiple systems.
• Demonstrated experience automating accounting or Finance workflows and using AI or LLM tools in accounting work.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL, Python, APIs, or similar tools.
• CPA certification or CPA eligibility.
