Location: Remote-first; must be based in the United States (Eastern Time Zone) or EMEA. Offices available in New York or London.

What you will do

• Advise the People team and stakeholders on global employment law, including contracts, onboarding, and terminations.
• Develop and manage scalable employment practices, policies, and procedures to reduce legal risk.
• Provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice to global colleagues across multiple jurisdictions.
• Coordinate and manage external legal counsel across the globe.
• Monitor changes in global employment regulations and propose necessary company updates.

Requirements

• J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. State Bar OR a law degree and qualification to practice law in an EMEA jurisdiction.
• 6+ years of relevant post-qualification employment law experience, specifically in-house at a fast-paced, global company.
• Experience building employment processes and handling complex employment litigation matters.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
