IT Support Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for Windows and macOS workstations across a mixed fleet.
• Implement CMMC controls and develop supporting evidence documentation for security compliance.
• Manage the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including identity, device management, and user lifecycle.
• Oversee IT asset tracking, onsite networks, conference room AV, and building security systems.
• Build a scalable IT knowledge base by documenting procedures, fixes, and runbooks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience, preferably in a startup environment.
• Deep working knowledge of Microsoft 365 identity and endpoint security.
• Experience implementing security controls based on CMMC 2.0, NIST 800-171, or similar frameworks.
• Must be a US Citizen or hold equivalent work authorization (Permanent Resident) to access controlled US Government information.
• Must be located near Denver, CO or willing to relocate.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting IT infrastructure for the US Government or defense contractors.
• Prior experience handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
• Relevant security certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or CISM.
• Experience mentoring or leading junior technicians.
