TL;DR

VP, Lending Business Development (Fintech): Leading the expansion of lending business through external strategic partnerships with an accent on P&L accountability and channel management. Focus on building high-volume distribution for HELOC and unsecured personal loan products within the fintech and banking ecosystems.

Location: Must be based in the United States (Hybrid options in Phoenix, AZ metro; remote available in other US states).

Salary: $250,000–$275,000 + bonus + equity.

What you will do

Design and execute go-to-market strategies for third-party distribution partnerships.
Manage the financial health and P&L of partner-led channels, optimizing CAC and profitability.
Lead the full lifecycle of partnerships from prospecting and negotiation to contract execution.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure competitive product suites and frictionless onboarding.
Maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers at partner accounts.
Scale distribution for HELOC and unsecured personal loan products.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships within fintech or banking.
Deep expertise in consumer credit products, specifically HELOC and unsecured loans.
Proven track record of negotiating complex, multi-year revenue-share or white-label agreements.
Strong analytical rigor with the ability to build business cases and stress-test projections.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
