What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting under U.S. GAAP.
• Optimize close timelines and implement scalable accounting processes in partnership with the Finance team.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and perform detailed account fluctuation analyses.
• Coordinate Prepared-By-Client (PBC) requests and partner with external auditors to address inquiries.
• Manage and mentor a growing accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 6+ years of accounting experience, including both public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and corporate experience.
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger management.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is strongly preferred.
• Experience overseeing manufacturing operations and cost accounting (labor, materials, inventory, and BOM).
• Location: Must be based in Mountain View, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with FloQast, Blackline, or similar accounting close software.
• Familiarity with the transportation, automotive, robotics, or hardware sectors.
