What you will do

• Manage month-end close accruals, adjusting journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Review accounts for discrepancies and research unique transactions for proper accounting treatment.
• Collaborate with supply chain and engineering teams to track inventory and bill of materials for vehicle builds.
• Support financial statement preparation, audits, and footnote disclosures.
• Partner with vendors for invoicing coordination and onboarding.
• Ensure compliance with company expense policies and provide cost-reduction recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in corporate finance or public accounting.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical/data mining skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for discussing sensitive financial matters.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Ann Arbor, MI office.

Nice to have

• CPA or MBA/Master of Accounting.
• Experience with NetSuite.
• Experience in Inventory and Fixed Asset accounting.
• Proficiency with Google Suite.
