What you will do

• Own the accounting for all people-related costs, including salaries, PTO, share-based compensation, bonuses, and severance.
• Review transactions from partner teams to ensure journal entries and accruals are correctly reflected in financial statements.
• Drive optimization of manual close processes through automation and efficiency improvements.
• Lead cross-team accounting programs, including close management, intercompany consolidation, and outsourcing oversight.
• Represent accounting in strategic projects such as M&A integrations, new entity formation, and reorganizations.
• Develop operational policies and internal control frameworks to ensure SOX compliance.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a large public company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong foundation in US GAAP, specifically regarding payroll and equity compensation.
• Experience preparing and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Workday Financials or a similar large ERP system.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
