Salary: $160,000–$250,000 per year

• Set architectural direction and participate in code and design reviews for foundational sensor infrastructure.
• Drive the technical roadmap, balancing delivery commitments with long-term architectural health.
• Hire, coach, and grow a team of engineers through frequent feedback and career development.
• Own project resourcing, workload management, and the quality bar for all team deliverables.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, program, and engineering teams to navigate competing priorities.
• Utilize AI technologies to streamline workflows and enhance decision-making processes.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA and able to work in a hybrid capacity.
• Prior experience managing software engineering teams with a strong background as a software developer.
• Hands-on experience in systems software using C and/or C++.
• Deep technical grounding in network protocols, cryptography, and storage systems.
• Experience owning production infrastructure at scale and understanding reliability regressions.
• Cross-platform exposure across Windows, Linux, and macOS.

Nice to have

• Background in endpoint security, EDR, or kernel-adjacent software.
• Experience with cryptographic service design.
• Experience with configuration or content distribution systems at fleet scale.
