Vice President of Engineering (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote - US

Salary: $250,000–$275,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead, hire, mentor, and scale a global engineering organization.
• Own the technical vision, architecture, scalability, stability, and resiliency of the offensive security platform.
• Improve existing offerings and build new products as the product portfolio expands.
• Partner with product management and senior leadership on technology and cross-functional initiatives.
• Establish standards for engineering quality, efficiency, security, architecture, and development.
• Drive AI-assisted development, coding best practices, and agile methodologies to improve delivery and maintainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 15 years of software development experience, including 5 years building SaaS cybersecurity products.
• Strong multi-cloud engineering experience and familiarity with cloud environments, GCP, and Kubernetes.
• Experience establishing engineering standards for AI-assisted software development and adopting tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
• Experience with Secure SDL practices and building DevOps or DevSecOps teams.
• Experience leading distributed international engineering teams, recruiting and retaining talent, and scaling engineering organizations.
• Strong proficiency with Ruby on Rails and JavaScript/React; Node is an additional part of the technology stack.
