Senior Manager, Software Engineering (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $157,000–$224,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead a cross-functional engineering team of eight developers building SaaS and hybrid multi-tenant products.
• Manage recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing software engineering team.
• Contribute to system design, code reviews, and the product codebase.
• Forecast and manage capital and people investments.
• Partner with product management to define product requirements.
• Support rapid resolution of production incidents; on-call participation may be required.

Requirements

• At least five years of direct development-team management experience delivering commercial products.
• At least two years leading Software as a Service teams and processes.
• Experience hiring engineers, leading Agile teams, and planning delivery processes.
• Experience with CI/CD, commercial cloud architecture, and delivery.
• Expertise in Java, Cassandra, Kafka, Amazon Web Services, and Kubernetes, or an equivalent enterprise-grade stack.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
