What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance cloud-native applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Champion AI-enabled development practices to improve productivity and code quality.
• Participate in Agile planning, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
• Support CI/CD practices and deployment automation for efficient software delivery.

Requirements

• Must be a Canadian Permanent Resident or Citizen with at least 5 years of residency in Canada.
• Must be able to obtain Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B).
• 6+ years of experience in enterprise software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle or MySQL) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services and Redis.
• Experience with Vue.js or modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Background in health benefits, claims processing, or insurance domains.
• French language proficiency.
