Autonomous Vehicle Operator (Robotics)

Location: Must be based in Atlanta, GA

Salary: $29 – $32 per hour

What you will do

• Operate and supervise autonomous baggage tugs at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
• Log vehicle behavior, performance metrics, and observations during live cargo transport.
• Manually drive vehicles to and from storage depots as required.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of vehicle hardware systems.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to trial and test new autonomous features.
• Interface with ground staff to ensure safe and efficient cargo loading operations.

Requirements

• Valid US Class C Driver's License with 3+ years of driving experience and a clean record.
• Must be able to pass federal background checks and obtain an airport security badge.
• Experience handling specialty vehicles in complex environments.
• Proven experience in a lead or sole-supervisor role.
• Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Nice to have

• Post-secondary degree.
• Experience operating in airside environments.
• Experience with autonomous machinery or safety-critical infrastructure.
• Basic computer programming skills or ROS experience.
• Familiarity with ATL cargo operations.
