Shift Supervisor, Los Angeles, CA (Overnight Shift)

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; onsite overnight shift with flexibility for nights, evenings, and weekends

Base pay: $72,160–$97,420 per year, plus annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead and manage a team of approximately 20 autonomous vehicle operators.
• Run interviews and onboarding in collaboration with the Learning and Development team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, mentoring, training oversight, and performance reviews.
• Manage start-of-shift and end-of-shift activities, including attendance, software burns, data importing, and operator preparation.
• Coordinate with planning teams on training readiness, weekly goals, allocation, and operator availability.
• Respond to operator and onsite incidents, review plan-versus-actual performance, and lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience managing teams of 10 or more direct reports, including hiring, performance management, coaching, or mentoring.
• Understanding of US labor, employment, and driving laws.
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, data review, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support business needs with nights, evenings, and weekends.
• Interest in robots and tools supporting AI and robotics development.

Nice to have

• At least 4 years of experience managing large teams of 15 or more direct reports.
• At least 2 years of experience in the autonomous vehicle or delivery industry.
