Location: Must be based in the US, with up to 25% travel required for site visits and commissioning.

Salary: $139,100 – $150,000

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end loudspeaker system design, including electroacoustic modeling and coverage prediction.
• Define audio system architectures, including signal flow, topology, and technology stack selection.
• Specify mixing console platforms, wireless microphone systems, and RF coordination strategies.
• Establish networked audio standards for Dante, Milan-AVB, AES67, and Ravenna.
• Support pre-sales discovery, budget development, and design narratives for the sales team.
• Mentor design and sales engineers to raise technical fluency within the audio discipline.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional live audio production and system design experience.
• Professional-level mixing experience (FOH and/or monitors).
• Demonstrated expertise with L-Acoustics and/or d&b audiotechnik design tools.
• Strong command of networked audio standards (Dante, Milan-AVB, AES67, Ravenna).
• Understanding of broadcast audio workflows and loudness compliance.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for project commissioning.

Nice to have

• Manufacturer certifications (L-ISA Immersive, d&b Soundscape, Dante Level 3, AVIXA CTS-D/CTS-I).
• Experience using Sketchup for design visualization.
• Strong in-person presentation skills for executive-level engagement.
