Salary: $120,000 - $135,000 CAD

What you will do

• Serve as the acoustics lead or Project Manager for a wide variety of multi-disciplinary projects.
• Perform environmental and architectural acoustics design, field measurements, and on-site construction observation.
• Conduct computer modeling using SoundPlan and perform calculations for sound isolation and noise control.
• Prepare technical reports, schedules, and specifications for design teams and clients.
• Mentor junior team members and support the growth of the acoustics department.
• Assist with business development and relationship management in Canada and the United States.

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience in acoustics design and measurements for the built environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related STEM field.
• Proven expertise in environmental acoustics, specifically regarding mechanical and power generation equipment.
• Proficiency in computer modeling software, specifically SoundPlan.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
• Must be based in the Greater Toronto Area with the ability to travel up to 25%.
