Senior Accountant

Location: Chelmsford, Massachusetts, United States

Annual salary: $85,000–$90,000, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Prepare standard monthly journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
• Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and analyze balances for accuracy and reasonableness.
• Prepare supplemental reporting and financial analytics.
• Support the month-end close and timely financial reporting.
• Maintain accounting policies and procedures.
• Identify and implement automation and efficiency improvements in accounting processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles, procedures, and software.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, communication, and ability to work independently.
• Ability to handle confidential data with discretion and professionalism.

• Experience with Oracle.
